The Association of Marseille Espérance, bringing together the representatives of the thirteen religious communities of Marseilles and working for ecumenical and intercultural dialogue, awards every year the Marseille Prize for Promise to a film from the International Competition in the FID.
The screening of the film that won during the 18th edition of the FID,
MOSTRAME by Anneleen Hermans, will take place October 25, 2007 at the Cinéma Les Variétés in Marseille.

  
The FIDMarseille, in the context of its partnership with the International Festival of Francophone Film of  Tübingen/Stuttgart from November 1-8, 2007, presents, in the section "Art and cinema," a selection of four films selected for the 2007 FIDMarseille.
  
The 5th Festival of African Cinema from the country Apt will take place from November 8-14, 2007. The public is invited to "meet Africa via diverse filmmakers of all ages and from all regions of the continent".
